Carroll High School earned eight I ratings for their nine performances at the IHSSA Individual Events District Speech Contest, held Saturday at Whiting High School.
Those eight performances will next compete at the IHSSA Individual Events State Contest, to be held on Saturday, March 15, at Woodbury Central High School in Moville.

Katelyn Aden broke the school record for career 3 pointers made. Shellie Mosman held the old record of 123. Katelyn finished with 124. Congratulations Katelyn!!
Kellan Hooper, a Carroll 4th grader, competed on Thursday 2/20 in the first ever "Junior Science Fair". The Science Fair is a statewide competition managed by Iowa State Extension. This was the first year of competition in the 3rd-5th grade levels. The competition was held in Cherokee, and there were 29 kids competing from regional schools. Kellan's project was called "Citrus Sizzle", and was about how different metals produce different voltages in a lemon battery. He received a blue ribbon! Congratulations!
