Did you know Carroll High School now has a Registered Apprenticeship Program? This past summer Mrs. Kelli Schulz, CHS teacher, completed training and the required paperwork to be a certified program in the State of Iowa and the United States Department of Labor.
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is the first apprenticeship opportunity for our Carroll High School students with St. Anthony Regional Hospital being the first local business to partner with the school. Currently, two Carroll High School juniors, Karsen Schoenfeld and Riley Coats are enrolled with the program where they are able to take CNA courses all while earning a paycheck and gaining valuable experiences in the high-demand career field.
